Acorn Pediatrics works with many health insurance companies. We are happy to bill medical services through your family’s health insurance. However, the charges for your child’s medical care is ultimately your responsibility. If your insurance does not cover, or only partially covers a service that was provided, you will be responsible to pay for the remaining portion that the insurance company assigns to you.
Should any balance be referred to a collection agency due to default on payment, all costs of collections, including collection fees, any attorney/court costs, will be added to the balance of the account.
In addition, should any patient payment be returned due to Not Sufficient Funds, Acorn Pediatrics will assess a $20.00 processing fee. If unexpected financial difficulties develop, please call us to set up a payment plan.
